OSSD & Requirements (Sec. 3.1)
OSSD is short for: Ontario Secondary School Diploma
30 credits (18 compulsory, 12 elective)
must pass the provincial secondary school literacy test
40 hours of community hours
Community Involvement Activities (Sec. 3.1.3)
when it may be completed: any time during the school
encourages students to develop _Awarness__ and of the role they can play in supporting and strengthening their communities. may take place in a variety of settings, including: __place of worship_, ___organizations, ___institutions (including hospitals), and informal settings. Students may not fulfill the requirement through activities that are counted towards a _credit__.
Provincial Secondary School Literacy Test (Sec. 3.1.4)
Required for all grade __10_ students
May repeat test in following years.
Based on writing & reading up to grade __11_
Substitutions for Compulsory Credits (Sec. 3.2)
