III. PROBLEM PRESENTED

Client is financially incapable of meeting the needs of the family specially the school expenses of her daughter.

IV. BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The client is the eldest child in their family. Her parents and relative are all residing in Leyte. She finished her secondary education in Leyte and had moved in Manila to find a job, where she met her husband. After several years, they decided to stay in Sagñay which is the hometown of client’s husband, for financial reason and to start a family. At present client is blessed with a daughter. Ester got married at the age of 30. She said her husband was a loving and a responsible man. They were married for almost 24 years. Client is a simple housewife and a loving mother to her only daughter. Emy client’s daughter is now Grade VI student in Sibaguan Elementary School and very motivated to finish her study to help her family. According to her she will do everything just to keep her family complete and intact, but with poor health condition client was depress for not helping her husband to work for the family.

Pedro, client’s husband is a motorcycle driver in Sagñay Camarines Sur. He is the one who is supporting and providing the daily needs of his family. Client’s family is living with a simple life. Only her husband is working. Having an income of 3, 500 every month, is not enough to provide the daily needs of their family.

V. DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT

This is a case of a client of a mother who is experiencing financial problem. At her age, having a family, and concern to address the education of her daughter was the first thing she considered.

Nevertheless, despite of the financial difficulty, she expresses her willingness to find a ways to help her husband in the daily needs of their family. Her family serve as her strength whenever she feel depress.

Through the positive attitude that she had manifested and with proper intervention, it is possible to the client to overcome her problems.

VI. RECOMMENDATION

With the assessment made, the undersigned Municipal Link strongly recommends that the proper treatment be given to the client.
