This is more than simply teaching that we ought to live a holy life before God – it is the most important thing in a believer’s life. What is the goal of struggles in our lives?
Is to be that type of person that others can feed off of your strong faith. When you experience challenges that shake the foundation of life, you still remain faithful and trust God who is in control. To many, what is the most life-consuming challenge that causes them to doubt God’s power? We feel tha colossal circumstances can be bypassed or outsmarted, but when people are in play, we believe that in some way they are able to outsmart God, His rules and His ways. When things in our lives become chaotic we are told to “behold”… (be able to complete the sentence). “the works of the Lord” – one day He will make all the chaos stop, God will ultimately deal with all the sin in our lives and in the world.
